Through the eyes of Shalu (a common housewife in an urban setting), BARABAR('Equal') looks at a fictitious age-old civilization, which is promised a 'No Discrimination' regime by the king but only on the basis of an event which itself is shrouded in the evils of inequality. This hypocrisy leads to unfortunate results and forces Shalu to think whether we as a civilization have learnt our lessons from the past or not.
