Excessive corruption and a society that doesn't value the dignity of labor are the factors that compel many youths to choose the path of revolt. In this short film VOLCANO efforts have been put into establishing the same situation. The protagonist (Raju) of this film is a graduate Assamese boy. He chooses to become a barber- a vocation for which any graduate and particularly people from the Assamese community don't come forward. But to earn his livelihood the right way and to safeguard his dignity, at the same time, he ignores what people will say. But he is faced with challenges from the society that leaves him frustrated. This frustration finally becomes the root cause of his revolt against the society.
