15 Spectacular Space Pictures from NASA
Mar 21st 2013, 04:55

Named after the rocketry pioneer Dr. Robert H. Goddard, the Goddard Space Flight Center was NASA’s first space flight complex and continues to be a big part of NASA’s scientific research and discovery. The complex has four areas of focus: Astrophysics, Heliophysics, Earth Science and Solar System Exploration. Although the scientists, engineers and technologists at Goddard do impressive technical and scientific work, they also produce amazing beauty and art in the process. Using satellites and powerful telescopes like the Hubble, they’re able to capture incredible images of planets, stars and everything in between.

Visit the NASA Goddard flickr photostream or facebook page to see more images. You can also follow NASA on twitter.
