We take hands for granted. When babies are born, we kiss their tiny fingers and toes, marvel at their strong grip. As adults we may write silly messages on them, but mostly our hands just do as they’re told, and they’re told to do a lot. We work, dance, play, without thinking much about them. But these photographs highlight a beautiful part of us, whether they’re worn and accustomed to work, or they belong to a little one whose hands have yet to experience the world.
