The architecture of Victorian houses usually looks grand and imposing, even when the house is actually small. Having survived more than a century, the homes are often either in shambles and ‘haunted’ or in a gentrified yuppy neighborhood, renovated into the 21st-century. Either way, Victorian houses are impressive buildings to photograph, capable of showing wealth and poverty at once.
